MAGE SOLAR ACADEMY, part of the globally operating MAGE GROUP, announced that is has expanded its ambitious course curriculum again and is now also offering OSHA Outreach Training. The course content is being taught by OSHA-authorized instructors and complies with the organizations newly implemented requirements for OSHA Outreach Training Classes.

The two newly-developed 10-hour and 30-hour classes will show workers and employers how to recognize common health and safety hazards, how to effectively avoid job related injuries and other preventive measures. As OSHA states, the outreach training courses have also been designed to increase the nation’s productivity by familiarizing workers with their rights at work and teaching them responsible job site behavior.

OSHA 10, a two-day unit centered on hazard identification and construction safety for entry-level construction workers, will be held from June 14 to 15 at MAGE  SOLAR ACADEMY in Dublin. Other future training dates are July 18-19, August 22-23, September 18-19, November 18-19 and December 6-7.

The sequel training unit, OSHA 30, will be held in August and October over the course of four full days. While this curriculum component also focuses on workers’ rights, proper complaint filing, and employer responsibility, it is especially geared towards supervisors and managers who are responsible for safety enforcement and implementing rules or regulations.

“MAGE SOLAR ACADEMY takes construction safety and quality very seriously,” commented Joe Thomas, President of MAGE SOLAR ACADEMY. “We want every construction site in America to be as safe and productive as possible, no matter if it is a solar PVinstallation site, or any other job site. Through outreach and education classes such as the OSHA training courses we hope to contribute to the creation of jobs and of health, and as the solar-PV industry expands this will become increasingly important.”

At the end of both courses, students will receive course completion cards to fulfill OSHA training requirements. Registration for the courses has started and will be open until filled (class sizes are limited to ensure maximum learning outcomes).
