EDF Renewable Services Signs Operations and Maintenance Agreement for 222.4 Megawatts with Detroit E

EDF Renewable Services- formerly enXco Service Corporation - has signed a multiyear Operations and Maintenance agreement with Detroit Edison for two wind projects for a combined 222.4 megawatts of wind-powered generating capacity.

The 110.4 MW Thumb Wind Project and the 112 MW Echo Wind Project, located in Huron and Sanilac counties, Michigan consist of General Electric (GE) 1.6 MW turbines.  These two projects join the 102.4 MW Gratiot Wind Project, currently under contract with EDF Renewable Services, for a total of 324.8 MW.

Under the terms of the agreement, EDF Renewable Services will provide selected O&M for the turbines and balance of plant, project oversight, and 24/7 remote monitoring from its NERC compliant Operations Control Center.
