Founded in Greece in 2007, Sungate was a Gold-level member of the REC Partner Program in 2012 and used the tools and benefits to increase their sales growth and market development. In addition, they have trained and certified 32 companies and installers as REC Solar Professionals in 2012. Sungate sold 17,000 REC solar panels last year, ranking REC among the top three solar panel suppliers of Sungate. The REC solar panels were used in more than 100 installations – from residential to commercial and large scale solar plants.

This will enable Sungate to select top installers to be certified as REC Solar Professionals, and as a result provide them with enhanced access to marketing and sales support, installation training and enhanced warranty options from REC.
