CSUN, a specialized manufacturer of solar cells and modules is pleased to inform that it signed a licensing agreement with Zep Solar, Inc., a US based manufacturer of the first comprehensive platform for module-integrated installation hardware. Zep Solar’s hardware is expected to deliver significant reductions on total system costs and is one of the quickest ways to install PV modules on residential as well as commercial and industrial roof-tops.

The agreement covers all of CSUNs three production sites in Nanjing, Shanghai and Istanbul, allowing for maximum flexibility in terms of delivery of Zep Compatible PV modules to the USA. CSUN incorporated the patent-protected Zep Groove into the frame design of its major mono- and polycrystalline module types.

“With CSUN tackling the US market, licensing the Zep Solar technology is a major development for us,” explains William Sheng, Vice President Sales at CSUN. “The Zep Compatible technology is widespread in the States. With the agreement easy adoption of CSUN's highly efficient, innovative modules in this major growing market is possible.”

Mike Miskovsky, CEO of Zep Solar, adds “our agreement with CSUN represents another important milestone in the rapidly-growing market reach of the Zep-Compatible platform, and enhances our ability to provide a global customer base with the industry's most efficient, cost-effective, safe and aesthetic solar mounting solutions.”
