Coated copper enables a reduction in the silver consumption of HJT and improves efficiency by 0.3 to 0.5%. The focus lies in enhancing efficiency rather than reducing costs. In the future, the efficiency of HJT combined with copper coating modules could reach 740W. From 2023 to 2024, the production of coated copper equipment will primarily emphasize testing and verification of the pilot line. By 2025, the equipment is expected to enter stable production. Currently, lithography equipment manufacturers CFMEE and SVG Tech are actively conducting verification, while metallization equipment vendors RoboTechnik and Dongwei Technology have established strategic cooperation with SPIC. Furthermore, the complete production line vendor Maxwell is scheduled to deliver the pilot line to Huasheng Group in Q3.
