On June 23, Jiangxi Ganfeng Lithium Battery's New Battery Research Institute and PACK Integration Project is nearing trial production. Currently, four core factory buildings have been completed and stand tall on site. Interior decoration of the R8 laboratory and M10 production plant has been finalized ahead of schedule, marking the beginning of equipment installation and commissioning.
According to reports, equipment for the R8 facility is expected to arrive in early July. In the M10 building, core equipment for the PACK system integration production lines has already been delivered and is currently being installed and commissioned at full speed. A total of four production lines will be established, with trial production expected to begin by mid-July.
The total investment in the project is RMB 1.5 billion, covering an area of 149 mu (approximately 99,333 square meters) with a total construction area of 56,000 square meters. Key construction components include a next-generation lithium battery R&D center, lithium battery testing center, PACK system integration production lines, an automated warehousing system, office buildings, and other supporting industrial facilities.
Since the official start of construction in February 2025, the project has progressed rapidly, aiming to become an advanced manufacturing base that integrates next-generation lithium battery technology R&D, authoritative battery product testing, and large-scale PACK system integration. Once fully operational, the project will achieve an annual energy storage battery system integration capacity of 12 GWh, with expected annual sales revenue of RMB 6 billion and tax contributions of approximately RMB 120 million.
