Huasun Wins Bid for 350 MW Huadian PV Project in Shandong

published: 2025-09-09 11:30

Recently, the bidding process for photovoltaic module procurement in the 350 MW Shandong Huadian Binzhou Zhanhua Lubei Base PV Power Project—a key new energy initiative of China Huadian Corporation—was successfully completed. Huasun New Energy stood out with its advanced technology, reliable product quality, and extensive project execution experience, securing the position of first candidate and winning the bid. This highlights the strong competitiveness of Huasun’s heterojunction (HJT) modules in large-scale projects led by central state-owned energy enterprises.

The 350 MW project is not only a major new energy development for Huadian in Shandong Province but also an integral part of the province’s Lubei wind-solar-storage-transmission integrated energy base. Covering over 8,000 mu (approximately 5.3 km²), the project is designed with a total capacity of 350 MW and a DC-side installation capacity of 449 MW, located on coastal saline-alkali tidal flats.

According to the tender specifications, the project will be equipped entirely with N-type monocrystalline bifacial dual-glass high-efficiency HJT modules. The technical requirements set a front-side conversion efficiency of ≥22.6%, rear-side peak power no lower than 65% of the front side, and a minimum module output of 715 W.

Huasun’s HJT products fully meet these requirements, delivering near-100% bifacial generation capability and high power output, ideally suited to the challenging saline-alkali coastal environment. These modules will provide stable and efficient clean power for the integrated energy base. The project will also deploy intelligent and automated technologies to further enhance operational efficiency.

Notably, the project adopts a “fishery-solar complementary” model, combining PV power generation with aquaculture. This approach maximizes land use efficiency while supporting the transformation and upgrading of local aquaculture, contributing to green development of clean energy. It will also inject new momentum into ecological protection and high-quality development in the Yellow River Basin, playing a strategic role in optimizing the regional energy mix and advancing the green, low-carbon transition.
