Energy Storage Orders Get Off to a Strong Start! Three Companies Announce Good News

According to EnergyTrend, the energy storage industry has got off to a strong start as the Lunar New Year begins. Shanghai Electric, Pinggao Group, and Gooree have successively announced good news, covering overseas order signings, domestic project wins, and bulk deliveries.

Gooree:Delivery of Over 50MWh Commercial & Industrial Energy Storage Orders

On February 27, Gooree announced that its commercial and industrial energy storage systems had entered a rolling delivery phase, with multiple batches of energy storage equipment continuously shipped to Europe, Africa, and several key domestic cities.

According to Gooree, overseas orders have grown significantly since the launch of its "Gooree" brand in global markets.The current round of delivery exceeds 50MWh, including large-scale overseas projects, repeated restocking by regional agents, and domestic park-level projects.

At present, the company’s Foshan production base operates with high efficiency. All systems undergo aging tests and functional verification before leaving the factory, and are shipped with unique serial numbers.

Shanghai Electric:Signs 50MW/150MWh Energy Storage Project in the UK

On February 26, Shanghai Electric announced the recent signing of the 50MW/150MWh Mendip II Stonehenge Energy Storage Project in the UK, securing a major overseas energy storage order for the new year.

The Mendip II Stonehenge Energy Storage Project is located in central England, with an installed capacity of 49.9MW and energy capacity of 149.7MWh. Shanghai Electric stated that it will take this signing as a new starting point to further advance project implementation, while focusing on high-end European markets including the UK and Romania to accelerate its international expansion.

Pinggao Group:Wins 150MWh Commercial & Industrial Energy Storage Framework Procurement

On February 26, Pinggao Group won the bid for Guoneng Xinkong’s 2026 energy storage equipment framework procurement project.According to the tender announcement, the project covers:

30 sets of lithium iron phosphate battery energy storage DC system equipment, with a nominal capacity of no less than 5MWh per set, totaling approximately 150MWh at a rated charge/discharge rate of 0.5P;

112 sets of integrated energy storage units, with capacities of 417.997kWh and 261.248kWh respectively.

The scope includes full sets of equipment: 314Ah lithium iron phosphate batteries, battery clusters, battery management systems, prefabricated cabins (including battery racks), supporting perfluorohexanone fire protection systems, temperature control systems, and indoor lighting.It also includes structural design, factory and on-site commissioning, acceptance tests, and technical services.
