According to EnergyTrend, recently, JA Solar, Jinko Solar, Risen Energy, and India’s Premier Energies have successively secured large-scale PV module orders covering Latin America, Europe, Chinese state-owned enterprises, and the Indian domestic market, with a total scale exceeding 3.2 GW.
JA Solar Signs 400 MW Module Order in Latin America
On April 14, at the Mexico Solar & Energy Storage Exhibition, JA Solar announced the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement with Exel Solar, a leading PV distributor in Mexico, covering 400 MW of PV modules.
Under the agreement, JA Solar will supply 400 MW of high-efficiency PV modules to Exel Solar, which will widely distribute these advanced products across the Mexican market. This cooperation marks an important milestone in JA Solar’s global expansion.
As a well-known PV distributor in Mexico with rich market experience and an extensive customer network, Exel Solar will provide strong support for JA Solar’s expansion in Mexico. The partnership will also accelerate the adoption of PV products in the country.
Jinko Solar Signs High-Efficiency Module Orders in Four Countries
From April 15 to 16, Jinko Solar achieved a series of overseas order wins, securing contracts in four countries within four days, namely Ireland, Georgia, the Netherlands, and Germany, totaling 90.32 MW. All orders adopt Tiger Neo 3.0 TOPCon modules.
- On April 15, Jinko Solar announced a 27.16 MW high-efficiency module supply agreement with an Irish partner.
- On April 15, Jinko Solar signed a 14 MW utility-scale solar project in Georgia, further demonstrating the market’s recognition of its technological strength.
- On April 16, Jinko Solar signed a 36.46 MW high-efficiency module supply deal with a Dutch client. As one of Europe’s markets with the highest PV installation density, the Netherlands is a key strategic market for Jinko Solar in Europe, where it has recently secured multiple Tiger Neo 3.0 orders across various scales and scenarios.
- On April 16, Jinko Solar won another 12.7 MW high-efficiency module order in Germany.
Risen Energy Secures 1.2 GW HJT Module Order
Recently, Risen Energy reached a milestone in its strategic cooperation with China Huaneng Group, with the total volume of heterojunction (HJT) module orders between the two parties hitting 1.2 GW.
To date, Risen Energy has completed the delivery of nearly 600 MW of modules, which are being efficiently deployed in multiple large-scale ground-mounted power plants under Huaneng. This achievement marks that HJT technology has entered a new stage of GW-scale delivery and commercial validation in mainstream power markets.
Indian Firm Wins 1.6 GW Large Solar Cell & Module Order
Recently, Indian solar manufacturer Premier Energies announced the signing of a solar product supply contract to deliver 1.6 GW of solar cells and modules starting in the fourth quarter of 2026, with a contract value of 25.77 billion Indian rupees (approximately 18.9 billion RMB).
According to Premier Energies, the orders were placed by undisclosed independent power producers (IPPs) and EPC contractors, with full delivery scheduled between 2027 and 2028.
