Hanwha Q CELLS Expand PV Product Line in USA

PV users in USA will have more product choice as Hanwha Q CELLS, one of the world’s leaders in PV industry, has announced debut of two products for the U.S. market. The two products are Q.PLUS BFR-G4.1 and Q.PLUS L-G4.2, both are powered by Hanwha Q CELLS’ Q.ANTUM PERC technology.

Q.ANTUM technology is developed on basis of PERC cell technology. Q.ANTUM improves power output, low-light and temperature-behavior, while at the same time offering all of Q CELLS' VDE certified quality standards like Anti-PID protection, Hot-spot protect, and Tra.Q laser marking. Hanwha Q CELLS manufactures these PV cells and modules in sites in South Korea and Malaysia so that they can be delivered to USA without punitive tariffs.

Mr. Justin Lee, President of Hanwha Q CELLS America said, "We believe our new product series will continue to provide excellent quality and outstanding performance-price ratios for those who choose Hanwha Q CELLS, allowing us to further assert our growing leadership position in the U.S. market."

The Q.PLUS BFR-G4.1 is a 60-cell polycrystalline black frame PV module powered by Q.ANTUM technology with a power output up to 280W. This module product is proved to offer stable performances even in hot climate zones and cloudy regions. They are ideal for residential rooftops.

The Q.PLUS L-G4.2, on the other hand, is a 72-cell PV module that has already passed both UL and IEC 1500V certifications. This product is designed for utility-scale projects because of its high power output of up to 340W and lower BOS costs.

The products will become available since this July.
