5GWh Annual Output! Jinko ESS and EVE Energy’s Joint Energy Storage Battery Factory Officially Enters Mass Production

published: 2025-08-05 10:47

On August 4, 2025, Jinko ESS, a global leading energy storage enterprise, and EVE Energy, a lithium battery industry leader, jointly announced that their joint factory specializing in energy storage batteries has officially entered the mass production stage.

The factory completed full-link equipment commissioning in May 2025 and fully launched production lines in June. It will supply 5GWh of 314Ah energy storage batteries to Jinko ESS annually. EVE Energy will dispatch experts to assist the joint factory in quickly reaching the level of an industry-leading facility, fully meeting Jinko ESS’s rapidly growing energy storage business needs in the global market.

The 314Ah energy storage batteries produced by the joint factory are specifically designed for industrial & commercial and large-scale energy storage systems. Through full-process optimization—from material selection and process parameters to quality control—they significantly enhance energy density and system integration efficiency, delivering large single-batterycapacity, long cycle life, and high safety, which perfectly adapt to Jinko ESS’s liquid-cooled energy storage systems.

Zhou Fangkai, Chief Executive Officer of Jinko ESS, stated: “The mass production of this joint factory marks Jinko ESS’s vertical industrial chain extension from system integration to core battery manufacturing. Combining the resources and technological advantages of both parties, the joint factory is dedicated to providing customers with excellent energy storage batteries. The 314Ah batteries, in deep synergy with intelligent electronic control and liquid-cooled systems, can offer safer, more efficient, and cost-effective energy storage solutions for industrial & commercial and large-scale ground-mounted power stations.”

Currently, the global energy storage market is growing at an annual rate of over 30%, with the global new energy storage installation scale expected to exceed 200GWh in 2025. Leveraging the 5GWh capacity of the joint factory, Jinko ESS can provide stable and reliable energy storage solutions to global customers, particularly gaining significant competitive advantages in high-growth overseas markets.

Dr. Du Shuanglong, General Manager of CLSBG at EVE Energy, commented: “The mass production of the joint battery factory represents a key achievement of the two parties in vertical integration and technological collaboration within the energy storage industry chain. As the global energy storage market grows rapidly, EVE Energy will continue to deepen its strategic partnership with Jinko ESS. Leveraging our complementary strengths in batteries, systems, and market channels, we will jointly explore battery iteration and intelligent system solutions to drive industry upgrading.”
