Recently, leading Chinese enterprises have accelerated their overseas expansion, with a surge of large orders finalized in the global photovoltaic market. Four top players—LONGi, Jinko Solar, Aiko Solar, and JA Solar—have successively announced major overseas contracts covering key markets including Europe, Japan, MEA (Middle East and Africa), and Indonesia. The orders involve high-efficiency modules, energy storage systems, and strategic cooperation agreements.
LONGi Signs 100MW Module Deal at Dutch Exhibition
From March 10 to 12, during the Solar Solutions exhibition in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, LONGi reached strategic cooperation with three core European partners, signing a total of 600MWh of energy storage systems and 100MW of high-efficiency modules.
Among them, LONGi signed a cooperation intent for HPBC 2.0 modules with Elix, a local Dutch EPC partner, with 100MW of modules scheduled for delivery in 2026.
During the exhibition, LONGi highlighted its full-scenario energy storage solutions, along with high-efficiency PV products such as the Hi-MO X10 anti-glare module and EcoLife series. The anti-glare module is designed for high-density residential areas, airports, and special buildings with strict lighting requirements in Europe. The EcoLife series, targeted at the high-end residential market, is built on the world’s first mass-produced HBC cell technology, marking the first successful commercial application of heterojunction back-contact technology in PV modules.
Jinko Solar Secures 105.68MW Module Order in Japan
On March 13, Jinko Solar announced the signing of a 105.68MW supply agreement for its Tiger Neo 3.0 high-efficiency modules with a key Japanese distribution customer. These modules will be deployed in Japan’s residential and commercial & industrial (C&I) distributed PV markets.
Japan features high latitude, low solar irradiance, limited installation space, and frequent cloudy and low-light conditions. As a result, customers place high priority on power generation per unit area and performance under low-light environments. Benefiting from advanced N-type TOPCon technology, Tiger Neo 3.0 delivers outstanding low-light performance, significant extra power generation during peak tariff periods, and a front-side efficiency exceeding 24.8%, making it a performance benchmark in Japan’s distributed PV market.
Aiko Solar Wins 300MW Module Order in MEA Region
On March 16, Aiko Solar announced a 300MW procurement agreement for high-efficiency ABC modules with a key channel partner in the Middle East and Africa region.
The signing ceremony was attended by 22 guests, including the CEO of the channel group, Aiko’s sales and procurement director for South Africa, and representatives of 16 major EPC and C&I clients from South Africa. ABC modules will account for 100% of the channel partner’s annual distribution volume under this agreement.
The 300MW contract builds on the long-standing and successful cooperation between both parties. Previously, Aiko and its partner have developed multiple high-end residential PV projects in South Africa, including a premium villa project in Paarl, South Africa.
JA Solar Signs Multiple Agreements with Indonesia’s Triputra Group
On March 16, JA Solar announced that representatives from Indonesia’s Triputra Group visited JA Solar’s Beijing headquarters, where the two sides reached consensus across procurement, joint ventures, and education, and signed multiple cooperation agreements.
Triputra Group is one of Indonesia’s largest conglomerates, with business spanning agriculture, manufacturing, mining, trade, and services. Hermanto, CEO of Triputra Group, noted that Indonesia is in a critical phase of energy transition. JA Solar’s manufacturing and technological advantages in global PV perfectly complement Triputra’s local operational experience in Indonesia.
As Triputra Group expands into new energy, it signed a module purchase agreement and established a joint venture between its subsidiary TRIVE and JA Solar to further develop the Indonesian PV market.
In addition, the two parties launched a strategic partnership for talent development.Xingtai New Energy Vocational College, founded by JA Solar, will cooperate with multiple educational institutions under Triputra Group in education, research, and promotion services, including student and scholar exchange programs and joint development of new energy academic programs.
