According to EnergyTrend, Longi held a new energy storage product launch event for the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) in Germany on May 21, officially unveiling its industrial and commercial energy storage product portfolio.

The newly launched LONGi ONE platform integrates self-developed EMS, BMS, PCS, thermal management systems and iCCS predictive safety technology.

As one of the core technologies of LONGi ONE, the intelligent Cell Connection System (iCCS) monitors voltage, temperature, pressure, leakage and electrical anomalies at the cell level. It identifies internal resistance changes months prior to potential thermal risks and detects gas generation and abnormal cell behaviors minutes before critical thermal incidents occur.

Notably, Longi’s cumulative deployed energy storage capacity has surpassed 13 GWh with zero thermal runaway accidents recorded so far.

Longi showcased a lineup of products tailored for diverse application scenarios. The OmniCube L233 is a modular scalable industrial and commercial energy storage system. Hi-MO One Pro is designed for hybrid energy, long-duration backup power and microgrid scenarios, enabling integrated PV-storage-charging synergy, and is scheduled for launch by the end of this year.

EnergyTrend noted that Longi announced the official grid connection of its maiden industrial and commercial energy storage project in Germany on May 13. Equipped with the self-developed OmniCube A215 flexible PV-storage integrated energy storage system, the project completed installation and commissioning in late April. Its grid connection marks Longi’s strategic transformation from a solar module manufacturer to a comprehensive energy solution provider.

Longi has accelerated its expansion in the European energy storage market since 2026. The firm unveiled the full-stack LONGi ONE PV-storage integration strategy worldwide on April 1. On April 21, its PV and Energy Storage Technical Service Center in Madrid, Spain commenced official operation. Recently, its first energy storage projects in Italy and Finland have also successfully connected to the grid and entered service.
